Sadness..weCritique just closed its doors. Funny, I thought there were more critics out there than writers. Just goes to show. I guess it takes more effort to read a piece and then analyze it. I admit, I can only critique when I'm in the mood. But, hey - what the hell!
I'm going to offer anyone who wants one, critiques on pieces of written work (prose or poetry). I'm a pretty good critic when I get my ass into gear.
I'll be using a pretty basic critique template.
1. What I think the piece is about.
2. Things I liked in the piece.
3. Things I think could be improved.
4. Specific changes.
Within the workshopping groups I've been in, this is a pretty simple and easy way to give a clear and concise critique. Well, I guess that's all. If you want a piece critiqued, just comment with the link!
My Best,
Susan

To be brave is to love someone unconditionally, without expecting anything in return. To just give. That takes courage, because we don't want to fall on our faces or leave ourselves open to hurt.
